MIDNIGHT BLUE...BURNING GOLD
ANA DE LLOR & CARISS AUBURN ON STAGE WITH DARKSIDE.
Okay, so it has been a while since we last did a blog, but we am pleased and excited about the latest of our lockdown collaborations.
One of the real pleasures of performing with Darkside is that we get to work with some lovely and incredibly talented people. Our latest offering will feature two such people: Cariss Auburn, our resident female vocalist and Ana De Llor, whom also helps us out with vocals when time permits.
The song is a gentle Rick Wright composition, with lyrics by Roger Waters off the Obscured by Clouds album. We thought it would be interesting to record it with our two talented friends taking the lead vocals and we are blown away by the results.
Ana also works in the visual arts sector and is responsible for the concept and creation of the accompanying video. We are all extremely pleased with what she has produced, and we hope you enjoy it too. Your feedback would be very welcome.
On a separate note, though it is incredibly frustrating not being able to perform at the moment, we have been busy behind the scenes, working on some fabulous ideas for when we are back on the road, including what we hope will be a welcome return to Offa’s Dyke for the 10th anniversary of our unique show there, plus a one-off spectacular in a well-known cathedral. More to follow as things get confirmed.
